One of Twitter’s main selling points is its global reach, so here, we present our pick of the top 10 Twitterers from around the world that you should be following:

United Kingdom

Stephen Fry

Fry is the quintessential British wit, full of pithy one-liners and bags of personality. Moreover, he actually uses Twitter to engage with his followers, rather than seeing it as a one-way dialogue.

Ashton Kutcher

Kutcher is an American actor, and the husband of Demi Moore. With more than two million followers, he’s the most popular person on Twitter.

When he’s not tweeting something deep, meaningful and philosphoical, he occasionally posts candid photos of his wife, like the famous one of her in a white bikini.

Queen Rania al Abdullah

She uses Twitter to spread the word about her charity work, and even give the odd glimpse into the surprisingly normal world of the royal household.
