Pornographic application slips through Apple’s watchful eye
Call it iPorn. While Apple has tried to keep pornography far away from their iPhone application store – even pulling a program called Wallpaper Universe in November after discovering it contained racy images – the company apparently failed to properly screen at least one application currently available.
Early Thursday morning, Ustream, a brand new iPhone application for viewing live streaming video on the Web, showcased a live sex cam as one of its most popular videos.
“Her G Spot TV LIVE!!” featured a scantily-clad woman teasing audiences with suggestive poses and gestures, at one point undressing completely just off camera.
Many of the approximately three hundred viewers, unhappy with her antics, posted disgruntled messages bemoaning the lack of nudity and the suspicious claim that the show was live.
It’s currently unknown how Apple feels about the performance – but, as of Thursday afternoon, the application was still available on iTunes.
